Maintenance and disassembly

1. Maintenance of the pump? Several main parts should be noted.
a. Rolling bearings: After the oil pump runs for a long time, when the bearing wears to a certain degree, it must be updated.
b. Front seal ring and rear seal ring: When the seal ring is worn to a certain extent, it must be changed.
c. Mechanical seal: Generally, the mechanical seal should not be disassembled and inspected under the inert condition without oil leakage. If there is a serious leak at the leak at the lower end of the bearing body, the mechanical seal should be dismantled and inspected. When assembling and disassembling the mechanical seal, you must handle it gently, pay attention to the cleanliness of the mating surface. e. Unscrew the set nut of the shaft coupling. Pull out the shaft coupling.
f. Remove the bearing end cap. Remove the pump shaft and bearing.

Use of the pump
(1) Preparation and inspection before starting:
1. This series of oil pumps are lubricated with high-quality calcium-based butter and No. 10 motor oil respectively according to the working conditions of the pump. If butter-lubricated pumps should be regularly filled with butter in the bearing box, use oil-lubricated pumps. Insufficient positions will be added.
2. Check whether the stored liquid in the pump casing is higher than the upper edge of the impeller. If it is insufficient, you can directly inject the stored liquid into the pump body from the filling port on the pump casing. Run, otherwise the pump will not work properly and will easily damage the mechanical seal.
3. Check whether the rotating parts of the pump are stuck or bumped.
4, check whether the pump feet and nuts at each joint are loose.
5, check the coaxiality or parallelism of the pump shaft and the motor shaft.
6, whether the inspection pipeline is leaking, if there is a leak, you must try to eliminate it.
7, open the valve of the suction line, slightly open (do not fully open) the outlet control valve.
(2) Start-up and operation:
1. Start the oil pump. Note that the steering of the pump shaft is correct.
2. Pay attention to abnormal sounds and vibrations during rotation.
3. Pay attention to the readings of the pressure gauge and vacuum gauge. After starting, when the readings of the pressure gauge and vacuum gauge are stable after a period of fluctuation, it means that the pump has been filled with liquid, and the oil pump is pumped into the normal oil transfer operation.
4. In the process of self-priming (or stripping) before the pump enters the normal oil transfer operation, special attention should be paid to the inert state of the oil temperature in the pump. If this process is too long and the oil in the pump is too high, stop the pump inspection. ? The reason.
5. If the temperature of the liquid in the pump is too high, which causes self-priming difficulties, you can temporarily stop. Use the liquid in the discharge pipe to flow back to the pump or directly add liquid to the pump at the liquid storage port on the pump. The liquid in the pump drops? Then start it.
6. Adjust the outlet control valve so that the pressure gauge reading points to the specified area. Avoid the oil pump working within the lower limit of the specified area. To prevent the motor from overloading due to excessive shaft power. Or the pump may have cavitation due to excessive flow. , Affect the normal operation of the pump. Make the pump strongly vibrate. 7. If there is strong vibration and noise during the operation of the pump, it may be caused by cavitation of the pump. There are two reasons for cavitation:
The first is the excessively high flow rate in the mouth tube. The second is the high suction. When the flow rate is too large, the outlet control valve can be adjusted to increase the pressure gauge reading. If there is a blockage in the inlet pipe, it should be removed in time; when the suction stroke is too high, the installation height of the pump can be appropriately reduced.
8. The pump is stopped for some reason during the work. When the pump needs to be restarted, the outlet control valve should be slightly opened (not fully closed).
